Frequently asked questions
Is there a mandatory format for this information?
No. Art. 19 governs the content, not the form. The block is a suggestion that you can adapt freely, as long as the information appears clearly and visibly in the listing.
Is the block enough for a complete listing?
No. Identifying the product also takes an image of it, and warnings have to be in the language of the target country. The tool cannot check that for you.
When do I need a responsible person?
In the listing, when the manufacturer is not established in the EU. You then also name the economic operator in the EU, such as the importer or an authorised representative.
Are my entries stored?
No. The tool runs in your browser. Nothing is sent to us, and the form is empty again when you reload.
