Module Product passport · ESPR, Battery Regulation, Machinery Regulation
The product passport comes group by group. Your address is already there.
There is no single date. Batteries need a QR code from 18 February 2027, machinery may have digital instructions from 20 January 2027, and the other groups follow by delegated act. We track every deadline with its source.

No single deadline.
Each product group gets its own delegated act, usually followed by at least 18 months of transition.
Regulation (EU) 2024/1781QR codes do not survive a relaunch.
Printed codes that point to a subpage lead nowhere after your next relaunch.
The data is scattered.
Data sheets, declarations and certificates in three systems and five mailboxes.
What the product passport module does.
- 01
Deadline tracker
Every duty per product group with date, status and legal source. Free, and citable as a dataset.
- 02
An address that stays
Every product has a short link and, with a GTIN, a GS1 Digital Link address.
- 03
Battery QR code
On all batteries from 18 February 2027: a page with the required information and the declaration of conformity, reached through the same QR code.
- 04
Digital instructions
For machinery from 20 January 2027: instructions as a PDF with versions, paper requests at purchase through a form, every request dated.
- 05
Simplified declaration of conformity
For radio equipment: the text of the simplified declaration and the full declaration at a fixed internet address.
- 06
Other product groups
Once the act for your group applies, its fields are added, at the same address. Until then you maintain repair, spare parts and recycling details.
- 07
Everything in one place
Documents, declarations and certificates per product, versioned.
Who it is for
- Battery and appliance manufacturers
- Machinery builders
- Textiles, furniture and metals, once the act for the group arrives
