Module Packaging · PPWR, Regulation (EU) 2025/40
You write the declaration. We keep it findable.
The PPWR has applied since 12 August 2026. Each packaging format needs an EU declaration of conformity that is kept up to date. ProofPass does not write it and assesses nothing. It records every version, gives it a fixed address and delivers it to your customers.

The brand or the filler issues it.
Whoever fills packaging or sells under their own brand is normally the packaging manufacturer, even without a factory of their own.
Art. 3(1)(13) Regulation (EU) 2025/40The evidence comes from suppliers.
Suppliers must give the manufacturer all the information and documentation it needs.
Art. 16 Regulation (EU) 2025/40Keep it for five or ten years.
Declaration and technical documentation stay available for five years, ten for reusable packaging. An authority gets them within ten days.

What the packaging module does.
- 01
A declaration per format
You store the finished declaration as a document on the product or packaging item, per language.
- 02
Every version in the archive
New version in, old one to the archive, with its validity period. You can see which version applied when.
- 03
Fixed address and QR code
The address never changes. The code always points to the current version.
- 04
Delivery to customers with proof
When customers ask for the declaration, it goes out through the distribution list. Sent, opened and downloaded, with timestamps.
- 05
Test reports alongside
Published documents can be read by anyone on the product page. Test reports and supplier evidence you do not want to show stay internal as received supplier evidence (from the Start plan).
- 06
Request evidence from suppliers
From the Start plan: ask suppliers for documents from the dashboard, with automatic reminders, and see what is still missing.
Who it is for
- Fillers and brands that sell packaged goods
- Packaging makers whose customers ask for evidence
- Importers who have to keep a copy of the declaration
