QR code for data sheets
Enter the web address of your data sheet, or your domain and GTIN, and you get a QR code as an SVG for printing. The code points directly to your target and does not go through us. Choose an address that never changes, because a printed code can no longer be corrected.
Want the code to stay right when the data sheet changes?
In ProofPass the code stays the same while the version behind it changes. Scans are counted and old versions stay in the archive.
Frequently asked questions
Does the code go through your server?
No. The code contains exactly the address you enter. We see neither the address nor the scans.
Why SVG?
SVG stays sharp at any size. Your printer can place the file directly in the label template.
What is a GS1 Digital Link?
A web address that contains your GTIN in a fixed form, such as https://www.your-company.example/01/04006381333931. For it to work, your website has to respond under this path.
How small may I print the code?
That depends on the printing, the material and the scanning distance. Before the print run, make a test print on the real material and scan it with several phones. A clear margin has to stay around the code, and the file already contains it.
